Welcome to the women’s section of Elsham Golf Club. Whether you are one of our current lady members or looking to get started with golf, I hope you will find lots of useful information on the following pages. 

We have a very active and vibrant women’s section. We are lucky enough to have three league teams, a scratch team, friendly team and mixed team. We have an Academy for anyone new to golf, both women and men are welcome. A women’s roll up takes place on a Tuesday from 9.30am and an afternoon roll up during the summer months on Mondays at 2pm. 

We have a buddy system and new members will be matched up with some buddies who are happy to take you out on the course to show you the ropes.

We play most of our competitions on a Thursday afternoon. From 12pm during the winter and from 1pm in the summer. If it is a trophy competition, we also have an alternative competition, whenever possible, for anyone who is not able to play on the allotted day. This is usually a Wednesday or Saturday, of the week prior to the main competition. Results of main trophy competitions and photos can be found under the Results and Gallery sections.

We host two women's Open events each year,  usually at the beginning of June and end of September. Take a look at our Competitions page for more details.
