Between October and March, we play non qualifying competitions. These are usually fun and allow us to enjoy a variety of formats.
From approximately the third week of March, our qualifying competitions begin. All the competitions are listed on the calendar. Where we have a trophy competition, wherever possible, we hold an alternative competition on either the Saturday or Wednesday before the main competition. If you would like to read more about the history of our trophy competitions, visit our Trophy competitions page.
All competitions are listed on the How Did I Do website. In most cases, entry to competitions close at 9am on the morning of the competition but please check details for each competition. If you have any queries regarding competitions, please contact the Competition Secretary, Heather Tuck on 07949 458478.
We are proud to say we have three women’s teams at Elsham who play in the County Leagues. We also have a Scratch team and play in women’s friendly matches against other local clubs.
Selection for the county team matches is based on handicaps. We encourage all ladies to put their names down to play in the friendly matches.
The Women’s section host two Open Competitions each year. We encourage a maximum of two Elsham players per team.

During the winter months we host Winter Mixed Greensome competitions with a meal afterwards. These are inter club competitions and are usually very well supported. A great social event and an opportunity to win vouchers to spend in the Pro shop. Sign up on the sheets in the foyer.
We host the McGill Open Mixed Betterball competition in May each year.
